I was born in Monterrey, Mexico, and spent many years building my creative career in Houston, Texas before making my way to Portland, Oregon. Along the way, I’ve spent more than a decade behind the camera photographing everything from food, beverages and products to models, artists, movement and the occasional doggo :)

I love playing with light, color, movement, composition and unexpected perspectives to create images that feel intentional and tell a story. Sometimes that means making a cocktail look almost too good to drink. Sometimes it’s freezing a dancer in midair, finding the perfect light for a beauty portrait, or building an entire scene around a product.

My background in communications and film has also shaped the way I approach commercial photography. I understand that a beautiful image isn’t always enough. Brands need visuals that communicate something, connect with the right people and actually work across websites, social media, advertising and campaigns. I love finding that sweet spot between creativity and purpose.
